MADRID, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Copado, a cloud-based release management platform, today announced a €7.5 million Series A funding round with an investment from Insight Venture Partners with participation from Salesforce Ventures. Copado will use the capital to expand the functionality of its product suite and support its continued global growth.

Copado is a leading release management platform on the Salesforce AppExchange, providing a streamlined end-to-end release management solution for development teams. Founded in 2013, Copado has achieved self-funded organic growth of 300% year on year until now.

"We're excited to partner with Copado as they continue to grow their release management platform," said Vinny Pujji of Insight Venture Partners, "The Salesforce ecosystem presents endless opportunities for developers to create innovative business solutions. Copado's platform ensures tracking and productivity, reducing mistakes and enabling rapid deployments. It has become an indispensable tool for its customers to release their products smoothly and realize their return-on-investment faster."

Copado's Enterprise-class release management platform enables Salesforce customers to clear their backlog of feature requests and release functionality faster to end users.  Companies of all sizes (from 200 to 20,000+ seats across industries) have been adopting Copado to manage parallel releases, reduce deployment time-frames, increase the number of releases and decrease costs for their projects.  "Copado's wide range of features empower developers to be more productive and independent. That means less nights and weekends spent on releases and more time to focus on what they love most - developing new features on the platform." said Copado's CTO Federico Larsen.

"We see development teams around the world creating fantastic business applications within Salesforce. Having a great product idea is hard enough – executing on it is another challenge entirely. Dev teams need a top-notch platform to grow their products, and that's exactly what we're committed to providing. With the help of Insight Venture Partners, we're looking forward to expanding our products' capabilities and continuing our support of innovators," said Copado CEO Philipp Rackwitz.
