Deven Parekh and Jeff Lieberman recognized for creating successful global technology companies
New York, NY, January, 14, 2014 – Insight Venture Partners today announced that managing directors, Deven Parekh and Jeff Lieberman, have been chosen by AlwaysOn as two of the Venture Capital 100 winners for 2013. The VC100 list honors the most influential people in the venture capital world who support entrepreneurs that are building forward-thinking, profitable technology companies.
The 2013 VC100 winners were nominated by their peers—investors, bankers, journalists, and industry insiders—and selected from among hundreds of individuals in the global technology entrepreneurial community. Deven Parekh joined Insight Venture Partners in 2000 and invests in e-commerce, consumer internet and application software businesses. His 2013 selection recognized as notable his investments in Twitter and Chegg. Jeff Lieberman joined the firm in 1998 and focuses on consumer internet and SaaS business investments. Jeff’s selection recognized his investment in Cvent as notable.
Mr. Parekh and Mr. Lieberman along with the VC100 will be honored at AlwaysOn’s eighth annual Venture Summit Silicon Valley, February 13th, at Draper University in San Mateo, CA.
