Oscar focuses on investments in both growth-stage and mature software businesses. He helps lead sourcing efforts, conducts due diligence on new investments, and works closely with management teams to support goals post-close. He currently sits on the board of or is involved with Insight’s investments in A Place for Mom, Advantive, Aptean, Inhabit, Kiteworks, and Rithum. He previously worked with Insight's investments in CivicPlus, Precisely, and Saks.com. 

Prior to joining Insight in 2022, Oscar was with OMERS Private Equity, where he was focused on the origination, execution, and management of buyout investments in the industrials, business services, and healthcare sectors. Oscar began his career with the healthcare investment banking group at Barclays in New York, working on a variety of buy-side and sell-side M&A, debt, and public equity transactions.

Oscar graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration, double majoring in Finance, Investment, and Banking, and Economics with a Mathematical Emphasis.

Outside of work, Oscar enjoys strategy board games, distance running, trying new restaurants, skiing, exploring national parks, and making homemade maple syrup.
