Jason Ewell joined Insight in 2015 as a Venture Partner. Jason works closely with CEOs and their executive teams to accelerate growth, scale operations and build their teams.
Prior to joining Insight, Jason was Executive Vice President at TravelClick and part of the executive team that more than quadrupled the company’s annual growth rate until its acquisition in 2014 for more than $900MM. Jason joined TravelClick in 2011 and focused initially on turning around TravelClick’s two digital marketing services businesses. He subsequently assumed responsibility for TravelClick’s remaining businesses, accelerating growth at both, including an industry leading hosted analytics solution and a hosted transaction software product.
Prior to TravelClick, Jason spent 14 years at American Express: first in corporate strategy and strategic partnerships where he led Amex’s equity investments in Concur Technologies and OpenTable, and subsequently as a leader in the Global Commercial Card business. Jason built and led Amex’s card partnerships with American Airlines and Avis/Budget, launched new products and transformed Amex’s lead generation, inside sales, and distribution partnerships. During his last 5 years at American Express he led digital marketing for the OPEN Small Business group, where he also developed several new channels and created the innovative content marketing strategy for OPENForum.com.
Jason received his BA in American History from the University of Pennsylvania.
