Kevin Hurth joined Insight in 2016. He is responsible for coordinating equity and debt capital markets activities across the firm, including developing and managing relationships with investment banks and financing partners.
Specifically, Kevin sources and manages deal flow from investment banks for new platform investments and portfolio company add-on acquisitions. He leverages knowledge of the investment bank ecosystem to provide capital markets advice to investment professionals and management teams engaging investment banks for M&A or IPO's.
Additionally, Kevin leads the financing process for new platform investments as well as portfolio company add-on acquisitions and recapitalizations. He is involved in transaction structuring, selection of financing providers, negotiation of key terms, syndication, and execution.
Prior to joining Insight, Kevin worked in Chicago for BMO Capital Markets and BMO Harris Bank in various leveraged finance roles. Most recently, he was a member of BMO Harris Bank’s Sponsor Finance group, where he originated, structured, underwrote, syndicated, and managed senior debt investments.
Kevin holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He enjoys skiing and playing soccer and softball. He is a fan of all Wisconsin sports teams.
