Molly Alter joined Insight in 2016, where she focuses on high-growth consumer and enterprise software investments. Prior to Insight, Molly worked as a product marketer on the Surface team at Microsoft. She also developed an appreciation for the creativity software stack through her experience at Mt. Auburn Productions, a film production agency that creates live and commercial content in the Greater Boston Area.
Molly graduated magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard University with a BA in History of Science and a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. She received the Thomas T. Hoopes Prize for her thesis on opioid abuse and the adolescent drug rehabilitation industry.
Outside of work, Molly creates YouTube mockumentary films, plays tennis, and works on her Caesar Salad blog, Julius.
