Rachel Geller joined Insight in 2008 and focuses on high growth software and internet companies. She is responsible for managing due diligence on Insight investments and strategic engagements with portfolio company executives, including growth strategy, data analytics and M&A.
Rachel has helped evaluate hundreds of potential Insight investments, and has provided investment and growth support for more than forty portfolio companies, including Conga, FloQast, HealthcareSource (acquired by Francisco Partners), Kinnser (acquired by Mediware), eVestment (acquired by NASDAQ), and HauteLook (acquired by Nordstrom). She has evaluated more than twenty M&A transactions for Insight's portfolio companies, helping them grow through acquisition.
Prior to joining Insight, Rachel worked as a strategy consultant in American Express' strategic planning group, where she evaluated business strategy and growth opportunities across the company. She was also a marketer responsible for new product and concept development, customer research and launch planning.
Rachel graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She resides in Chicago with her husband and two children.
