Behind the Investment: Stuut Technologies

Picture your best accounts receivable (AR) rep. They’re not analyzing risk or building customer relationships, they’re sending another follow-up email to the same customer, for the same invoice, while a hundred more sit in the queue.

They’re not an outlier. Across most companies, AR teams spend their days logging into customer portals, making phone calls, matching payments to invoices, and investigating deductions and disputes.

For companies with thousands of customers, multiple entities, and disconnected ERP systems, these workflows can consume entire departments. The result is slower cash collection, higher operating costs, and significant working capital tied up in the process.

Software has helped finance teams digitize and manage these workflows, but it has not eliminated the underlying work – people still have to click buttons and execute tasks. Not to mention, implementations can take months, and exceptions ultimately find their way back to a human for manual triage once more.

Stuut Technologies takes a fundamentally different approach. As the AI-native execution layer for AR, Stuut contacts customers through email, SMS, and voice, delivers invoices & supporting documentation, interprets responses, identifies disputes, predicts payment timing, and follows up until payment is received.

Insight Partners is leading the company’s $52.5 million Series B because we believe AI-native execution represents a meaningful step forward from the workflow software finance teams have relied on for decades.

On the cash application side, Stuut matches payments to invoices, interprets remittance data, processes deductions, and posts approved entries back into the ERP. The platform connects with the systems finance teams already use, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MSFT Dynamics, and QuickBooks, enabling customers to deploy in days rather than endure a six-to-eighteen-month implementation. Rather than simply providing finance teams another dashboard to manage, Stuut actually performs the work.

Stuut’s customers are already seeing measurable improvements in cash collection, days sales outstanding, headcount efficiency, and manual workload. Stuut helps customers collect more revenue on time, reduce overdue receivables, and redeploy employees from repetitive invoice-to-collections work toward higher-value activities. Stuut also deploys without requiring companies to replace their existing ERP or AR systems.

Stuut began with collections and cash application and is now extending its AI coworker across the order-to-cash lifecycle, spanning order management, credit, payments, deductions and disputes. We believe this positions Stuut to become the category leader in AI-powered order-to-cash.

Having known CEO/Founder, Tarek Alaruri, for nearly a decade, we are thrilled to be backing him for a second time. Tarek brings a bias to action, an unmatched level of hustle, and can teach a master class in enterprise sales.

We look forward to seeing what Stuut accomplishes in this next phase of growth, and we’re proud to partner with this team.
