Barrie Markowitz joined Insight in 2019 as Executive Vice President on the Insight Onsite team. Barrie works with portfolio companies on accelerating growth through marketing performance and talent management.
Prior to Insight, Barrie founded bmark & others, a marketing consultancy specializing in high growth, recurring revenue businesses.
Prior to founding bmark & others, Barrie was the Chief Marketing Officer for Unirush, a pre-paid card company owned by The Carlyle Group. Barrie was responsible for acquisition, customer engagement, customer retention, public relations, social community, corporate social responsibility, and advocacy.
Prior to RushCard, Barrie was Vice President of Marketing for Audible, an Amazon company. Barrie also spent seven years at the United States Tennis Association as the Managing Director of Membership. Prior to the USTA, Barrie spent 14 years at American Express where she managed customer acquisition, customer retention, new product development, and partner relationships for marquis consumer products such as the Platinum Card, Centurion Card, Costco Cobrand Card, Delta Skymiles Credit Card, and the Membership Rewards Program.
Barrie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
