Paul McDonnell is a Vice President on the Insight Onsite Team. He works closely with portfolio companies looking to take their product marketing practice to the next level. Through buyer persona analysis, GTM optimization, new market expansion, and the creation of robust sales enablement programs, Paul's focus is on bridging the divide between technical and commercial sides of the business. He also works closely with the investment team in new deal diligence.
Prior to Insight, Paul led product marketing teams at Intent and Rokt, two high-growth data science businesses looking to optimize a user's buying experience with predictive algorithms. He was the first employee at Web Summit, the fastest growing technology events company in the world, and also worked at Tata Consultancy Services. He holds degrees in business and marketing from Trinity College Dublin. Having consulted with dozens of startups and established several ventures himself, Paul is passionate about early-stage enterprise and helping young businesses accelerate growth and realize their potential.
In his free time Paul can be found traveling and seeking out live music or sport. He is a proponent of tech for good and works on philanthropic projects to empower underserved communities.
