Ross Devor joined Insight in 2013 and invests across enterprise software, with experience in application and infrastructure software companies. Ross invests in both majority (leveraged and growth buyouts) and minority transactions, and has sponsored investments across the United States, Europe, and Israel.
In his career, Ross has consummated over 15 platform investments with 6 partial or full realizations to financial sponsors, strategic acquirers and the public markets. Ross currently sits on the board of, or oversees, the following investments: ABAX (through acquisition of Automile), Alma, Diligent, E2open (Public), Fourth (through merger with HotSchedules), Interfolio, Optibus, project44, TaxJar, Veeam, Within3, WorkForce Software and, formerly, Turnitin (acquired by Advance Publications). Ross works closely with the management teams of his investments to support their growth and operational initiatives, leveraging Insight’s deep portfolio resources. Additionally, Ross has consummated numerous add-on acquisitions driving significant inorganic growth for platform investments. Ross has been named to GrowthCap's list of Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors multiple times.
Prior to joining Insight, Ross was a member of the investment team at Thoma Bravo, completing multiple platform and follow-on software investments. Previously, Ross worked in the Corporate Finance/Mergers & Acquisitions group at Morgan Stanley.
Ross graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Economics. He lives in New York and is thoroughly outmatched by his wife and two young daughters. Originally from Massachusetts and Minnesota, Ross is still learning to enjoy New York sporting events.
